Arrival

Angela arriving at the Preston England MTC Thursday 9th January 2014 at 10am. What a journey it was too.
All the usual questions were asked several times. Have you got your recommend? Have you packed enough underwear and toiletries etc. Yes mum over and over again we got the same answer.
Angela was very eager to get to the MTC.
We all got in the car after Marc had packed it. We were 10 mins into the journey and a panicking screach from the back of the car said stop, we ned to turn round, Ive left all my immunization papers and my medication and I need them.
So we exited the nearest exit, got back home and picked up the papers and meds. And 2nd time lucky or so we thought.
We got to the MTC done our heart renching farewells and off we went to the book stoe. But wait we didnt even get off the premises and we got a call from the MTC saying Angela had left the paperwork and meds in the pocket of the car, so lucky we were able to just swing round.
I ran and knocked on the door and handed over the papers and meds.
Jumped back into the car and off we went to the book store.
After purchasing a couple of items we headed back to the car and when putting my items in the boot I found Angela Jacket that she needs. So lucky we had to drive past the Temple anyway to get back home.
So off we went and knocking again on the MTC door.
Finally we headed back home all bewildered, excited and emotional in a good way.
Later that evening of the 9th I recieved an email, thanking us for returning with the left items. The District leader said if she didnt email us to say thank she wouldnt get any treats that evening.
Bribery in the MTC. So cheered me up. I was able to sleep that night know my baby girl was in good hands. The Lords.
Angela's email from the first night.
Dear Mum ,
Im really enjoying it here in the MTC. It was so scary at first but now i have really settled in and have started learning to teach3 investigators. It's quite difficult especially one of the investigators who is called Priscilla and she has lost her daughter and doesn't believe in god but blames god for her death...i nearly died! i have had my patience tested so much , had a few tears but i have come through shining like a star.
Tell Ryan that i am so proud that he has become a priest and that the Lord loves him truely for what he is doing. He is so strong in the gospel that i didn't see it when i was at home but now that i have spent time with the Elders in my District , i truly see how much the Priesthood is precious and how important there role is in my life.
Thank you so much for the pictures and please tell everyone in the ward that i am alive. I leave to go into the Mission field next Wednesday and i get to go through the temple on Tuesday on the 7:30pm Session and there are only 6 girls who are leaving to go into the field the same time as me , so i think i will have to take part in all the session which is scary considering it will only be my 2nd time but i have been reassured by my companions that they will have my back and help me through it so much.
I will try and send you the SD card in the post vey soon as i am nearly about to finish it off so i will be able to write a letter home soon and then you can post it up on facebook or attach it to notice board back at home.
Love you lots and Lots
